St. David's
Banquet
Occurs in March of every year in Oak
Hill. Activities include a banquet,
entertainment, and music. Contact Mildred

Annual Cemetery Walk
In the fall of every year the Cardigan
Welsh Club conducts a cemetery walk open to
the public. The walk features a different
welsh cemetery in the Jackson and Gallia
County area.
Oak Hill
Boosters Fourth of July Celebration
The Oak Hill Boosters conducts their
annual Fourth of July celebration each year
adjacent to the old Oak Hill High School
baseball field. Activities include
fireworks, games, bingo, live music, and the
Booster’s famous fish sandwiches and other
food are served out of the Booster’s Fish
booth.
Oak Hill
Christmas Parade
The Village of Oak Hill organizes a
Christmas parade each December. The Oak Hill
Area Chamber of Commerce provides candy for
the kids. The parade includes fire trucks
from the Madison Jefferson Fire Department,
police cruisers from the Oak Hill Police
Department, and other floats and displays.

Concerts
in the Park
The Oak
Hill Festival of Flags Organization holds
free concerts in Aetna Park throughout the
summer and fall. In 2006 the Festival of
Flags will hold their first ever Christmas
concert.
Tour of
Homes
The Oak Hill Festival of Flags conducts
a Tour of Homes in December of each year.
Welsh
Museum Events
The Welsh Museum conducts educational
events year around at the museum on East
Main Street.
