Village of Oak Hill
The Village of
Oak Hill offices are located at 415 N. Front
Street at the Imogene Brunton Davis Memorial
Building. The Village of Oak Hill receives their
drinking water from the Jackson County Water
Company. The Village of Oak Hill provides
wastewater service, garbage collection service,
and police protection to village residents.

Oak Hill Public Library
The
Oak
Hill Public Library, located at 226 South Front
Street, was constructed in 2004. The 9,890
square foot facility offers books, newspapers,
periodicals, books on tape, videos, computer
access, and copying, fax, and laminating
services. The Estella Jones Jenkins Meeting Room
is dedicated to the memory of Estella Jones
Jenkins, a member of the Clionion Club and one
of the original ladies who played a major role
in establishing the first library in the
community of Oak Hill. The library became a
member of Ohio Valley Area Libraries, the local
Regional library system, in 1997. For more

Davis Home for the Aged
The Davis Home
for the Aged, constructed in 1959 by the Davis
Foundation, is a wonderful 32-room facility. For

Senior Citizens Center
The Oak Hill
Senior Citizens Center provides senior services
to seniors of the Oak Hill area.
Madison-Jefferson Fire Department
The
Madison-Jefferson Fire Department serves the
Village of Oak Hill, Jefferson Township, and
Madison Township (a total of 78 square miles and
more than 5,700 residents). The fire department
has 34 volunteer firemen and the service area
has an ISO (Insurance Services Office) rating of
5/9 (5 for the Village of Oak Hill and 9 for the

Jackson County
Water Company
A group of
farmers in Jackson County who needed drinking
water started Jackson County Water in1970.
Jackson County Water now has 5,000 connections
and serves 14,000-15,000 people throughout
Jackson County and adjacent counties. The
Jackson County Water Company serves a portion of
the Village of Oak Hill and portions of
Bloomfield Township, Franklin Township, Hamilton
Township, Jefferson Township, and Madison
